Security

Aptter’s platform is managed by Microsoft Azure and hosted by Microsoft in highly secured data centers which are PCI DSS Level 1, ISO 27001 certified and have successfully fullfilled multiple SAS70 Type II audits. Aptter’s data always travels over a secure connection. It is encrypted for transfer using SSL and it is only accessible via https (never via http).

Passwords are stored with one-way encryption on our servers meaning that our own internal team can never access a password. Our logging uses 256-bit encryption, the very same high-security standard used in online banking.

We use the 2Checkout.com Payment Gateway to securely process credit card transactions and bill your credit card on a recurring basis. Your credit card details are encrypted and securely stored by the above mentioned service. Your credit card details are not stored by Aptter (Tasos Karagiannis Personal Company) and cannot be used by our staff. A copy of Authorize.net privacy policy is available here.

Aptter’s data are monitored 24/7 for up time availability and support to prevent unauthorized access and data security leaks. Advanced security measures (e.g. firewalls, security guards and surveillance are taken to ensure the continued provision of service and protection of your data from natural disaster, intruders and disruptive events. Although we strive to protect your personal information, Aptter (Tasos Karagiannis Personal Company) cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to our website or services. Any data transmissions you make over the internet are done so at your own risk. Once we receive the data transmission, we make our best efforts to ensure its security and privacy on our systems.
